Assembly of Members

The Assembly is the supreme governing body. The Assembly sets strategic direction, approves the annual work programme and budget, admits new members, and takes all major decisions.

The Assembly meets at least once per year and operates through qualified majority or simple majority voting, depending on the nature of the decision.

Vice-chairs: Prof. Dr. Luise Hölscher, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS), on behalf of Germany; Serafino Sorrenti, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, on behalf of Italy.

Director

The Director is the executive body, responsible for day-to-day operations: implementing Assembly decisions, managing the team, representing the EDIC externally, and preparing the annual work programme and budget.

The Director leads a team covering the operational, financial, technical, and strategic needs of the consortium.

Advisory Board

A consultative body bringing together stakeholders from civil society, academia, the technology sector, and the private sector. It provides strategic and technical recommendations to the Assembly of Members.

European Commission

The Commission participates as observer and coordinator. It ensures alignment with the Digital Decade 2030 targets and facilitates access to Digital Europe Programme funding. The Commission does not vote but plays a key coordination role.
